Diane Johnson

Columbia-Greene Community College

Diane Johnson is originally from Georgia, where she received a B.M. in Voice Performance from Shorter University and a M.Ed. in Counseling from the University of Georgia.  She worked as a Residence Life Director at Furman University, Converse College and UMass Amherst until she transitioned into higher education career services by working as a corporate recruiter for two years. Diane served in employer relations, recruiting and career counseling at Siena College and Hudson Valley Community College in Albany, NY before taking her current position at Columbia-Greene Community College in 2006.  At C-GCC Diane is an academic, career and transfer advisor.  Off-campus, Diane volunteers at High & Mighty Therapeutic Riding Center, offering riding and other equine assisted activities to individuals with special needs.
